COIMBATORE: COINDIA has entered into an arrangement with Trioz Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. to jointly work in the target market to bring quality, cost effectiveness and timely delivery to assist Tiny, Small and Medium Industries in their design activities, 2D to 3D conversion, 3D solid modeling, tool and fixture design, product development catering to various industrial applications including pump, motor, foundry engineering, automotive and general engineering.

COINDIACOINDIA is implementing the Pump, Motor and Foundry Cluster Project under Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme, Govt. of India, at a total cost of about Rs.60 Crores in Coimbatore

"As part of the cluster development project, a Common Modern Tool Room (CMTR) with Product Die & Mould manufacturing facility was put up at Avarampalayam Road, and is operational now. The main objective of this common facility centre is to serve the Tiny, Small and Medium Units of Pump, Motor, Foundry and general engineering Industries of this region," Shri. G Rajendran, president of COINDIA said.

Trioz Tech is part of Coimbatore based Rathinam Group of Companies, situated near to SIDCO Industrial Estate, Kurichi and has adequate exposure and field experience in the engineering software, product design and tool room. Trioz is in CAD/CAM/CAE services for the past three years, having trained team size of about 50 people with specific strength in process, pattern and tooling knowledge. They are rendering professional engineering and marketing services to various industries. This joint initiative will bring in synergies and will help the user industry to tap the potential of hi-tech engineering besides filling the gap of knowledge and skill set in line with the world class manufacturing practices. All these things are available to the Coimbatore based tiny and small industries at an arms length.

With this arrangement coupled with software engineering training which is also already operational along with the full-fledged tool room facility will enable Coimbatore Industries, an end to end solution starting from design, development and on the job training, progressively moving towards product development etc., all at an integrated Complex under one roof. This is a long felt dream for the tiny, small and medium industries and has become a reality now. About 3000 industrial units will get benefited by this and these units will be given value added services like software support in design and product development besides affordable price and timely delivery.

"Certainly, Coimbatore with its enviable engineering history has added one more feather in its cap," said Shri. G Rajendran, president of COINDIA.
