Rajkot: Chief Minister Of Gujarat, Shri Narendrabhai Modi, has inaugurated & dedicated Jyoti CNC’s world class Manufacturing , Research and Design and Development facilities to Nation on the 1st of this month.

State of art infrastructure is provided to a team of young and enthusiastic engineers to pursue research activities and design/develop high tech sophisticated machines to compete with foreign machines and technologies.

Leonardo Da’ Vinci Research and Development centerLeonardo Da’ Vinci Research and Development center (Which was inaugurated by hon. Chief Minister), is the first ever dedicated R & D Center in India aimed to accelerate R & D activities in machine tool industry.

"This center we would like to present to our nation as a token of our commitment for uplifting technological growth of state and country," said Parakramsinh Jadeja, Chairman and Managing Director,  Jyoti CNC Automation.

"Considering the fact of proximity of number of I.T.I.s , Polytechnics and engineering colleges, Management schools in the Saurashtra region we also want to create an employment for the young technocrats and avoiding them to migrate to other states for the higher prospectus." Mr Jadeja said.

The Machine tool industry is the vital supporting industry of all manufacturing Industry and is a backbone of Indian Economy.

The Chief Minister said that Rajkot is turning in to a hub of Auto component ancillaries which caters number of huge Automobile manufactures and that the government is also planning to establish Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for automobile sector in the city. He added that the state government has recently constituted a 'Knowledge Commission' in order to boost skilled development that would help the manufacturing sectors.

"Other special guests who have blessed the event by their kind presence were Mr. Tulsibhai Tanti (CMD, Suzlon Energy Limited), Mr. Takashi Yamashita (President , NSK Limited, Japan), Mr. Mathai Globloben (Asia Head, Siemens AG, Germany), Mr. Bo Linton (Managing Director, Magnagas, USA), Mr. Martin V(Vice President, Bosch Rexroth, Germany), Swami Anandswabhavji (Osho Commune , Pune), Mr. Vinodbhai Doshi (Chairman, Echjay Industries Ltd., Rajkot), Mr. N.K. Dhand (President, Indian Machine Tool Association), Mr. Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi (Mayor, City of Rajkot), Mr. Vallabhbhai Kathiriya (Member of Parliament, Rajkot) ," Mr Jadeja informed.
Leonardo Da’ Vinci Research and Development centerJyoti CNC Automation Pvt. Ltd., Medoda , Rajkot is one of the top 5 Machine tool manufacturing industries in India. The company is involved in Design and development Production, sales and servicing of CNC Machines.

Jyoti also has established Technology Centers at various places like Rajkot, Chennai and Pune where they are giving training to students and try to bridge the gap of conventional technical syllabus and practical need of Industry when they start their professional career.

"This year only more than 250 student were trained at our tech centers and more than 1000 students has visited the company as a part of their curriculum," said Hiren Jadeja, Executive Director, JYOTI CNC AUTOMATION PVT.LTD.

Rajkot being a hub of Auto component ancillaries which caters number of huge Automobile manufacturers like Maruti and Tata (Number of components of dream car from Tata, the "Nano”, is manufactured on Jyoti's machines).

Jyoti has recently acquired 140 years old French machine tool manufacturing company “Huron”. Jyoti is the first Indian machine tool manufacturing company to acquire  European company. The French acquisition has opened a door for the company to cater their high tech machines to very sophisticated and emerging Aerospace industry. This acquired company has been supplying their machines to Aerospace giants like Boeing, Airbus and even to NASA.

Jyoti is one of the leading machine tool manufacturers in India and will aim at a market leadership by 2010 in terms of technology, sales volume and quality. CNC machines from Jyoti find its place in industries like Automobile, Aerospace, Die and Mould, Plastic processing machinery, Textile machinery, General engineering , Agriculture equipment manufacturing, Diamond and Jewellery industry, Bearing industry, Tool rooms, Medical equipments, Defense ,Power sector etc.
