Indo-Japanese Joint Venture for Engine Components Print E-mail

Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Limited, India and Kasuya Seiko Comapny Limited of Japan are forming a Joint Venture Company for manufacturing and marketing valve-train parts with new generation technology suitable for light, medium and heavy duty vehicles for worldwide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers.

Ghaziabad Precision Products (GPP) has been manufacturing engine and transmission parts including Push Rods, Rocker Arms, Rocker Shafts, Rocker Shaft Assemblies, Shifter Rails and Springs for National a  nd International OEM customers for the last two decades.

Kasuya Seiko is engaged in the manufacture and sale in Japan of diesel engines parts, chasis parts and other parts including the rocker arms, rocker arm shafts and rocker arm assemblies.. It has thus accumulated technical expertise, special skills and know-how pertaining to the manufacture and sale of such products. Kasuya Seiko  is a nominated supplier for these components to Hino worldwide apart from other auto giants in Japan.

The new Joint Venture, Kasuya GPP Auto Products Pvt. Ltd., will be located in Ghaziabad (India). It will manufacture and market these engine parts, chassis parts and other parts to meet the growing demand of current and latest generation vehicles in India and abroad.

Mr. Masahiro Kasuya, Chairman of Kasuya Seiko Co. Ltd. and Mr. I.C. Agarwal, Chairman of Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Ltd. expect that the new Joint Venture will expand the business by synergizing its technical expertise to the National and International market.

The Joint Venture is expected to reach a turnover of Rs.300 crores in next five years from GPP’s existing turnover of Rs.40 crores.
