With its humble beginning in Nettur, a small village in northern Kerala, NTTF has come a long way training up a number of talented youngsters, providing skilled man power to industries world over and helping them come up in life.

The Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) was started as a joint venture between The Church Of South India and the Swiss reformed church’s aid agency ( HEKS - Hilfswerk der Evangelischen Kirchen der Schweiz of Switzerland), on November 4, 1959. First batch of 16 students were trained in Mould and Die making. Dr. Heinrich Hellstern, Director of HEKS from Switzerland was the key founder of NTTF and Mr Alfred Frischknecht was the first Principal. About 20 professionals from various European countries were actively involved in the development of NTTF at various points of time.

In 1963 NTTF was registered as an Educational trust with eminent personalities from the Industry as trustees.

Head quartered in Bangalore now NTTF has grown considerably over the years.  Edutech NTTF India Ltd focusing on training and NTTF industries Ltd focusing on manufacturing are the two fully owned subsidiaries of NTTF today. ISIN NTTF and I DATA NTTF are the joint ventures offering manufacturing services.

In addition to the in-house training NTTF also offered external training programs to more than 20,000 people. They have also conducted short term vocational courses for more than 9000 people. Jointly with HMT (I), NTTF did projects in countries like Nigeria, Iraq, Algeria, Indonesia, Nepal, Egypt, Singapore, Vietnam, Mauritius, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Malaysia etc.

N RegurajA proactive visionary, Mr. N Reguraj, who is heading NTTF for almost 4 decades now was mainly instrumental in growing the organization to this level. Opening many new centers with industry participation and scaling up the operations with out compromising the quality are his major achievements.

NTTF has an ambitious plan to scale up the training from the current 6000 candidates per year to 30,000 candidates per year. The boom in the manufacturing industry has created an acute shortage of skilled and trained man power in the industry. NTTFs initiatives to partner with Industries and provide quality training to the aspirants would be a boon to the Indian Manufacturing Industry.
