Growth oriented company - since 1961 Bharat Fritz Werner was established in late 1961. India was then a poor nation. The nation worked under an over protected economy, and the industry developed sluggishly under a system of quotas, licences, and permits. The industry had its ups and downs, forcing several large and well established machine tool companies to close shop in the eighties. The BFW experience was quite the contrary. The company returned healthy profits every year – a trend that continues till today. Bharat Fritz Werner is an independent, growth oriented company. The company is accredited with ISO9001:2000 certification.
Co-creating with customers, BFW produced the first CNC boring and milling machine several years ago. BFW, in recent years, was the first manufacturer in India to launch crankshaft pin milling machine, nine-axis machining center for commercial truck rear axles, software to slash breakdown by ninety-five per cent, paper less TPM, and minimum quantity lubrication compatible machining centers. Bharat Fritz Werner has a fully owned subsidiary in Germany Some of the satisfied users of BFW machines include Maruti Udyog, Honda, Bharat Forge, TVS, Toyota, Greaves, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc. BFW has received three awards from Honda, apart from several from other organisations. |
