New Delhi: Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising the third Productivity Summit on 8-9 August 2008 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. Productivity Summit 2008 will bring together productivity 'gurus', champions and aspiring leaders on a common platform to share experiences, ideas and thoughts on new challenges facing productivity in metalworking manufacturing industries.

Case studies of the best productivity improvement projects implemented by major companies such as BAJAJ AUTO, BOSCH, CUMMINS INDIA, GODREJ & BOYCE, MARUTI SUZUKI, RANE ENGINE VALVES, RELIABLE AUTOTECH, TATA TOYO, UCAL FUEL SYSTEMS etc. will be presented in the technical sessions.

The Summit is a great learning opportunity for large, medium and small companies in their quest for manufacturing competitiveness.

Spread over five technical sessions, Productivity Summit 2008 will present keynotes on each session theme, from experts in manufacturing productivity:

IMTMA - SIEMENS PRODUCTIVITY CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS 2008

The highlight of Productivity Summit 2008 will be the 'IMTMA - SIEMENS Productivity Championship Awards' – to recognise and reward productivity champions for their outstanding contribution in achieving superior performance through sustained productivity improvement. As in 2006 & 2007, Siemens has partnered with IMTMA in instituting the Productivity Championship Awards for 2008. Case studies presented at the technical sessions will compete for the IMTMA-SIEMENS Productivity Championship Awards 2008.

PRODUCTIVITY SHOP

A concurrent exhibition at the Productivity Summit 2008 – 'Productivity Shop', promises to be a one-stop show window for latest innovations in productivity improvements in the metalworking manufacturing industry, displayed in the form of publications, equipment, product samples, CAD/CAM software, etc. Productivity Shop will be an ideal platform to interact on one-to-one basis with leading players in the field of metalworking manufacturing industry.

Over 600 delegates from a wide cross section of metal working industries all over India are expected to participate at this summit.

Participating delegates will comprise CEOs, Senior Executives, Practicing engineers, R&D Specialists, Consultants, Industry Experts, Technologists, Middle management personnel.
