EPM-MTS-EEE: Vietnam's leading industrial fair at the new Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC)

Hannover/Ho Chi Minh City: On 30 October, EPM, Vietnam's leading industrial exhibition will open its doors as the premier event to be held at the new Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. EPM will be featuring three specialist trade fairs under the modern canopies of the Center's brand new exhibition halls: EPM-Machine Tool Saigon (EPM-MTS), EPM-Energy ~ Electricity & Environmental Protection (EPM-EEE) and H20 Vietnam.

The range of displays spans machines for metal working and processing, the latest trends and technologies in the electrical engineering sector, state-of-the-art products for the energy sector, through to environmental protection and water treatment technology. Working closely with its event partner, Chan Chao International Co. Ltd., Taipei/Taiwan, as well as the H20 organizer, Planetfair, Berlin, Hannover-Messe International GmbH will for the first time be combining the EPM-MTS, EPM-EEE and H20 Vietnam tradeshows.

The concept of staging three complementary trade fairs concurrently under one roof is meeting with a positive response from industry. The synergies created by bundling related themes as well as the many opportunities for making new international contacts are cited as key attractions by exhibitors. Internationally operating companies in particular are planning to use the show as a springboard into the lucrative Vietnamese market: 130 companies from Australia, China, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, the USA and Vietnam have already booked stand space.

EPM-MTS-EEE is therefore the perfect international networking platform for Vietnamese decision makers from all relevant branches of local industry interested in meeting key foreign suppliers. The sharing of expertise and technological innovations at the show will play a vital role in terms of boosting the country's industrial development and thus further leveraging the enormous potential of this fast-growing market.

Apart from Germany - which in 2008 will be mounting a national pavilion featuring a special presentation by the federal state of Hessia - France, Taiwan, Singapore and China will also be mounting national group exhibits. The show's strong international character offers companies a unique opportunity to position themselves as premium partners to Vietnam's local industry and to forge new or further intensify existing business relations. Visitors to the show can look forward to a wealth of information on all the key themes on over 1,700 sqm (18,000 sq.ft) of display space.
