ElectroMech names A.V.R. Murty as Chief Executive Officer Print E-mail

Pune: Industrial crane manufacturer and material handling solutions' provider ElectroMech, today announced that Mr. A.V.R. Murty will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Murty will directly report to Mr. Tushar Mehendale, the Managing Director of ElectroMech. In this role, Murty will be responsible for the overall operations of ElectroMech, ensuring excellence in all activities like Sales, Design, Planning, Purchases, Manufacturing and Services. His overall thrust will be to develop strategies that build ElectroMech's overall presence and success in India as well as abroad.

Murty, 53, an M.Tech from IIT Mumbai, has a long standing experience in the manufacturing industry. He has a rich experience working at top management levels for various multi-national companies engaged in manufacturing Capital Goods. Prior to joining ElectroMech, he was heading the Indian Assembly Center of Sandvik Asia's Mining and Construction division.
