Jindal Saw Ltd, bags orders worth more than Rs 1000 Crores Print E-mail

Mumbai : Jindal SAW Ltd. (JSL), part of USD 10 billion Jindal Group, has announced the receipt of Orders/Letter of Intent (the LOI) aggregating to more than Rs 1000 crores (App. USD 210 million) for supply of Large Diameter Pipes and Ductile Iron Pipes for domestic and export markets. While domestic supply orders are from GAIL and HPCL etc, the export orders are primarily from middle-eastern market. With these orders, the total order book of JSL stands at app. Rs 3600 Crores (App. US$ 750 million). These orders are scheduled to be executed by March, 2010.

JSL produces SAW Pipes primarily used for transportation of oil and gas. With integrated facilities at multiple locations JSL has diversified into a multi-product company, manufacturing large diameter Submerged Arc Welded pipes and spiral pipes and bends for energy transportation sector, Carbon, alloy and Ductile steel Seamless Tubes manufactured by conical piercing process for industrial application and Ductile Iron pipes for water and sewage transportation.

Besides this Company provides value added products and services like anti-corrosion coatings for pipe and bends, induction bends and connector casings.
