KOMET India unveils new concept centre in Bangalore for tooling solutions Print E-mail

Bangalore : KOMET India, a 100% subsidiary of KOMET Group of Germany (a manufacturer of precision tools for bore machining, threading and reaming) has opened its new concept centre in Bangalore for tooling solutions.

The new facility houses a dedicated training centre to impart specialist training to customers and a Tech-centre where precision parts can be machined in the prototype stage to enable process establishment before the tool is delivered to the customer. Spread over 88,000 Sq.ft, the facility, is designed to house the latest manufacturing technologies in precision engineering. Set in a world class environment, complying with stringent international standards, the new facility is built to exacting specifications of dust proofing and air conditioning while ensuring a high degree of operational safety and health, along with eco-friendly practices that include maximum utilization of daylight, STP and WTP plant and ample green coverage.

India operations to tap growing demand for comprehensive precision engineering solutions.

KOMET India is a specialist in offering highly productive tailor-made solutions for manufacture of high-precision components in the areas of metal working.

KOMET India was established as the first Asian subsidiary of KOMET Group worldwide, with Indian operations providing key insights into establishment of other Asian subsidiaries of KOMET at China, Korea and Japan in the past decade. The company specializes in developing innovative designs and machined solutions for complex machine parts with applications ranging from Automotive and Aviation to Nuclear Power plants. Komet India clocked a turnover of approximately Rs. 30 crore in 2008. The company has invested in training it's complete technical staff in specialist training centers in Germany and Switzerland.

The estimated market size of precision cutting tool industry is approximately 10 billion Rupees.
