Mumbai: Elecon Engineering Company Ltd, a manufacturer of material handling equipment, has been awarded orders aggregating to Rs 138.25 crores for design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supplying, erection and commissioning of Material Handling Equipments and other Equipments & Gear Boxes.

It received an order from Jindal Steel & Power Ltd Angul, Orrisa for the supply of 6 MT PA, RMI-IS Packages, 3 Nos Stacker Reclaimer & other supporting equipments valued at Rs 47.80 Crores.

It also received an order, valued at Rs 40.55 Crores, from Larson & Turbo Limited (L&T Ltd.) for the supply of 20 Nos - Divel Planetory Gear Boxes for Coal Pulveriser of 3x660 MW Power Plant of Maha Genco Coradi.

Elecon, most recently, received an order from Sical Logistics Ltd for the supply of 3 Nos. Stacker Reclaimers, 1 No. Ship Loader & 1 Set of Wagon Tippler and other associated equipments for New Mangalore Iron Ore Terminal, valued at Rs 49.90 Crores.
