New Delhi: Rohtash Mal, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Escorts Ltd (Agri Machinery Group) has been elected as the President of TMA for the year 2010-2011. Mr Mal succeeds Mr Anjanikumar Choudhari, President – Mahindra.
The Tractor Manufacturer Association (TMA) is a professional body promoting the interest of its members, furthering the practice of tractorisation and farm mechanization in the country and thereby enhancing the earnings of the farming community.
Rohtash Mal joined Escorts Agri Machinery Group (AMG) in November 2007 and before Escorts, he was with the Bharti Group for over six years as CEO of their Broadband/landline business as well as the Agribusiness for two years as the CEO.
Mr. Mal is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has a rich experience of over thirty years in diverse industries like automobiles, telecom, chemicals, paper and exports. He is also a member of the Executive Advisory Committee of Simon Business School, University of Rochester, USA. |
