FEAL GmbH sets up wholly owned subsidiary in Kolkata, India |

Kolkata: FEAL GmbH has registered and set up a 100 per cent subsidiary, FEAL Tech Pvt Ltd, to provide a range of technology-based products and services required for an integrated steel plant. FEAL Tech will act as a one-stop shop for technology-based products and services required for an integrated steel plant.
FEAL GmbH, located in Hamm, Germany, is a joint venture between LASE GmbH, 3tn GmbH, Ortmann Maschinenbau, RATH AG and Klein Automation, whose areas of expertise include material handling, movement tracking, automation and refractory. It also has technical tie-ups with a dozen other German metal technology companies.
Debasish Mukherjee, a German NRI and co-promoter of the FEAL GmbH, is the managing director of FEAL Tech Pvt Ltd. He said that the capacity addition programmes and technology upgradation, being executed by steel companies in India presented lots of opportunities. FEAL GmbH plans to invest Rs 6 crore the Indian subsidiary as start-up capital.
In addition to production-oriented technologies, the technologies on offer will include quality, safety, automation, maintenance, human resource and cost management and efficient use of natural resources. |
