Chennai: Bajaj Auto has confirmed that bike prices will be increased by up-to Rs.1000 at the ex-showroom level on its motorcycle range. This hike will come into effect from 1st January, 2011.
According to S. Sridhar, President, Two Wheelers, Bajaj Auto Ltd, "The continued rising cost of raw material inputs is the main cause for this increase. Despite the hike our models continue to offer superior value compared to competition, and hence we do not expect this price rise to affect sales."
Prices to go up by up-to Rs 1000 on different models from 1st January 2011. |
