HEC Ranchi inks MoU with Vitkovice a.s, Czech Republic Print E-mail

Ranchi: Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Ranchi has tied up with Vitkovice a.s, a Czech Republic based engineering group, for cooperation in the areas of Steel Plant Equipments, Thermal & Nuclear Power Plants and Shafting for Naval Ships.

Vitkovice Power Engineering a.s. has expertise in manufacture of Thermal Power, Nuclear Power equipment and steel sector. Vitkovice will transfer Special Steel making technology for forgings and castings of Nuclear and Thermal Power Plants.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by G K Pilliai, CMD,  Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Ranchi & Dalibor Fabian, Commercial Director, Vitkovice a.s, Czech Republic in the presence of S Sundareshan IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Harbhajan Singh IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise at Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi. Michal Pastusek, General Manager and Robin Ojha, MD, Vitkovice India were also present on the occasion.

Vitkovice has around thirty companies including Vitkovice Heavy Machinery and Vitkovice Power Engineering. Vitkovice Heavy Machinery a.s, has expertise in manufacture of ship components, components for Nuclear Power, Marine and equipment for steel plants.
