BEML bags Rs 50 crore order from Myanmar for Dump Trucks & Spares |

Bangalore: BEML Limited, a Public Sector under the Ministry of Defence, has received an order, worth approx US$ 11 million (Rs 50 Crore), from Myanmar to supply of a fleet of Dump Trucks and Spares.
BEML is expected to commence shipment in the latter part of 2011. The company has already received advance payment towards the said supplies.
BEML is focusing on the ASEAN region with aggressive marketing practices, leveraging its overseas operations at Indonesia and Malaysia. The current order emerged out of its continued persuasion and extended focus in the region.
The company is also focusing on African and Chinese markets for Mining and Construction equipment during the current year 2011-12.
BEML is engaged in diversified businesses in various segments like Mining & Construction Equipment, Rail & Metro Coaches, Defence & Aerospace, Technology, Trading, Dredging etc.
