Lalit Kumar Pahwa to Head Escorts' Auto Suspension Products Division |

New Delhi: Lalit Kumar Pahwa has taken over as the Business Head of the Auto Suspension Product Division of Escorts Limited. In his previous assignment, Mr Pahwa was the Managing Director of TAL Manufacturing Solutions Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of TATA Motors Ltd., where he played a key role in the turnaround of the company.
Lalit Kumar Pahwa will lead the Escorts team in enhancing products and technology programs.
A mechanical engineer with an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune), Mr Pahwa has over 15 years of experience in the Engineering, Automation and Manufacturing industry.
His last assignment was as Managing Director and Country Head of American Axle & Manufacturing, a world leader in design, engineering, testing, validation and manufacturing of driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems, related components, and metal formed products.
"With the growth potential, visible for both the Railways and Auto Components business, it was imperative to have two independent heads for both the divisions. The objective is to bring sharp focus on the two businesses and the need to enhance our industry position," said Rajan Nanda, Chairman of Escorts Limited.
"Mr. Pahwa brings with him considerable skills and experience in leading and transforming business within the automotive space and carries a proven track record, in strategic and performance management. In him, we found the ideal fit of an aggressive leader who will own and drive Escorts’ auto suspension products division," he added. |
