National Seminar cum Exposition on Power Quality & Reliability Print E-mail

New Delhi: Power Quality and Reliability is the key issue that needs to be addressed for the sustainable industrial growth. The invisible pollution of Power is creating a lotof problem for the life of the critical equipment. To deliberate on this key issue, CII – L M Thapar Centre for Competitiveness has organized a two day event POWER Q - 2007 at Hotel Sheraton Welcom New Delhi. On the second day sessions were held on the topics like Power Quality and Automation, monitoring a profit centre and Self Generation – The Improvement Opportunities. In the sessions presentations were held on the topics like Harmonic Fundamentals for AC drives, Harmonic Mitigation techniques applied to Power systems with VFDs, A practical approach to harmonics mitigation through monitoring, impact of Non lenear load on DG Sets etc. Presentations were given by the eminent companies like Conzerv Systems Pvt. Limited, TTL Technologies Pvt. Limited, Tharmax Limited, Cummins India Limited, Danfoss Industries Pvt. Limited, Rockwell Automation etc. 

The exposition has attracted many participants and got to gain technical knowledge on the critical equipment. In the exposition companies had showcased their products and discussed the technicality and importance behind the products.
