Elecon Engineering Company Ltd bags Rs. 29.72 Cr order from BHEL Print E-mail

Mumbai: Elecon Engineering Company Limited, a manufacturer of Material Handling Equipments, Industrial Gears and Transmission Products, has been awarded an order worth Rs. 29.72 Crores by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited.

The order entails design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection & Commissioning of wagon tippler, Side arm charger with guide rails, Apron feeder with Dribble conveyor, Crushers with GERB V I S, Vibrating Screen and Stracker cum Reclaimer for CHP machine package for 2x250 MW Expansion project at Barauni TPS Unit #3 & 4, Begusarai Bihar.

Elecon Engineering Company's net profit rose 11.9% to Rs. 14.91 crore on 3.7% rise in net sales to Rs. 254.34 crore in Q1 June 2011 over Q1 June 2010.

Elecon manufactures sophisticated equipment for bulk material handling. The company is also into the designs, manufacture, erection and commissioning of coal handling plants. The company also has a separate gear manufacturing division.
