Mumbai: CII Institute of Quality (CII-IQ) is pleased to announce the Six Sigma Green Belt Programme. This course will be in two modules spread over two months for a total of 5 training days. The first module is scheduled on 22 - 24 October 2007 (3 days) and the second module is scheduled on 5 - 6 December 2007 (2 days) at CII Gurgaon Office, Gurgaon.
One chronic manufacturing problem from the participant’s organization should be taken up and solved during this programme as a project work. The same participant who attends the First Module is required to attend the Second Module also. Certificate for the successful participants will be issued by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Maximum number of delegates will be 20 and will be considered on “first come first served” basis.
Course Objective:
Zero in on the root cause for any manufacturing problem/ customer complaint/ field failures
Make radical improvements in process through systematic drill down of Root causes
Increase the profit by reducing the Cost of Poor quality and achieving Zero defects
Faculty Profile
Mr. Ram Narayan is a Mechanical Engineer and a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Business Administration. He worked in Lucas TVS from 1991-1996 and joined Omnex in 1996 as a Consultant for implementation of Quality Systems and Process Improvement for Automotive industries. He was earlier heading the Systems Certification in TUV Rheinland Academy and helped the supplier base of OEM’s for improving the product quality and achieving customer satisfaction through implementation of effective systems.
Mr Ram Narayan, with his wide experience, has helped the industry in implementing FMEA, Process Control using Statistical Techniques and Problem Solving approach making process improvements in various assignments. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
