Mumbai: Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra has resigned from the company. Rajesh joined Mahindra & Mahindra in 2000. He was heading the domestic operations of the Automotive sector in India.
"After a successful stint with Automotive Sector, Rajesh has now decided to move on to take on another challenging assignment in a different industry," the company said in a statement. He will now continue in the company till January 2012.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has announced the appointment of Jejurikar as the company's President. He will join by February next year and will report to Punit Goenka, Managing Director and CEO, ZEEL. "Jejurikar's vast experience in marketing and brand building will add immense value to the organisation," said Goenka. Rajesh began his career in the packaged goods industry and advertising. He is featured in the book India’s Most Powerful Brand Builders, released at the Asia Brand Congress 2008, as well as the Campaign India A List, 2009, featuring the 500 top professionals in advertising, media, and marketing. He is on the jury of the Advertising Club of Bombay’s EFFIES and EMVIES awards. He is also on the visiting faculty at the S.P. Jain Institute and speaks at several seminars and training programs each year.
Rajesh holds an MMS in Marketing from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai. He was awarded the British Chevening Scholarship for study at the Manchester Business School, UK. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School, USA. |
