Kisan Mouldings completes expansion program Print E-mail

Mumbai: Kisan Mouldings Ltd has announced that the Company has completed its 1st phase of expansion program at Company's existing manufacturing unit at Mahagaon near Tarapur. The commencement of commercial production from this new unit would be from January 2008. "Due to this expansion in the last quarter, the Company's top line and bottom line will improve at a very rapid pace" says Mr. Satish Agrawal — The Managing Director of the Company.
Further Kisan Mouldings Ltd, a Mumbai based Rs 150 crore Company engaged in manufacturing and sales of PVC Products i.e. PVC Pipes & Fittings, Plastic Moulded Furniture and other related products, is growing at a rapid pace. The Company's current manufacturing units are located at Silvassa and Tarapur. The Company's main asset is its strong network of more than 4500 dealers across the country, through which the Company has a very strong presence in all the parts of the country. The Brand "Kisan", over a period of time, has grown to become a household name for PVC Pipes & Fittings and other related products and the Company intends to capitalise on the strengths of the brand by launching new innovative and improvised products in the country.

The Company is also in the process of setting up a manufacturing unit for PE-Aluminium Composite Pipes, which would be one of its kind in India. The said unit is expected to commence its commercial production from last week of January 2008. And the new product shall also be sold under the brand name of "Kisan". The Company is also going for consolidation of its manufacturing activities at Mahagaon-Tarapur in different phases to achieve better economies of scale.

Further, the boom in the construction industry, development of SEZ across the country and development of new residential complexes / townships will also help the Company in achieving its goals while maximizing the returns.
