| BHEL bags Rs.6,400 Million order for 270 MW Thermal Power Plant in Jharkhand |

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a Rs.6,400 Million repeat order from Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited (APNRL) for the main plant package of the second new-rating unit of 270 MW at its upcoming Thermal Power Project (TPP) in Jharkhand. BHEL's scope of work in the present contract envisages design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of Steam Turbine, Generator and Boiler, along with associated Auxiliaries and Electricals, besides Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) and Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs). The Turbine Generator and Boiler will be manufactured at the company’s Haridwar and Trichy plants respectively, and the C&I system will be supplied by BHEL’s Electronics Division, Bangalore. The company’s Hyderabad plant will manufacture the Coal Mills and Boiler Feed Pumps, while the Electricals will be supplied by BHEL's Bhopal and Jhansi plants. BHEL's Ranipet plant will manufacture and supply the ESPs. |
