To begin with, the partners will jointly introduce TGM Turbines in 8-20 MW rating. A future joint venture company, to be owned by MaxWatt and TGM Turbinas along with TGM Kanis Turbinen, will start local manufacturing of turbines and expand its product portfolio to cover its entire product range. In less than 8.0 MW capacity MaxWatt will continue to offer its own range of steam turbines.

With our partners, having rich experience in turbine technology and an efficient product range, we will be able to deliver great product to our esteemed customers across India," said Mr Venkatesh, Managing Director, MaxWatt Turbines.

MaxWatt Turbines is currently operating in lower end market, generally less than 10 MW. MaxWatt (formerly Pentagon) was established in the year 1992 by a team of engineers with background on various aspect of steam turbine technology.

According to the agreement, initially for a few projects, to be established as reference projects, TGM will supply turbines, "flange to flange" from TGM's manufacturing facility in Brazil, while MaxWatt will source AC generator and electricals and other turbine accessories locally and undertake sales management, projects engineering and contract management.

TGM Turbinas and TGM Kanis Turbinen will provide proposal and sales support, project engineering support, after sales support and training of MaxWatt team on TGM turbines.

TGM Turbinas is an international player, with a strong presence in Latin America, North America and Europe and Africa. With steam turbine manufacturing range up to 150 MW, TGM Turbinas is in a leadership position in some of the major turbine markets and has been keenly exploring opportunities in India and Asia.
