HEC and Kralovopolska a.s. Explore Possible Cooperation

Ranchi: Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Ranchi recently held discussions with Kralovopolska a.s. (of the Czech Republic), a company that specializes in the production of various types of Cranes & equipment for Chemical & Petrochemical Industries, to explore possible joint cooperation.

HEC has been manufacturing EOT cranes and supplies to Indian Industries. The company has a huge fabrication facility, which can be utilized to further expand its product profile. Kralovopolska intends to enter the Indian Market and would like to have joint cooperation with HEC.

The officials also visited the Heavy Machine Building Plant & Heavy Machine Tool Plant at HEC.

In addition to this, a team from NBPPL (NTPC-BHEL Power Projects Private Limited), Noida, a Joint Venture company of NTPC and BHEL visited HEC this week for a first round of discussion regarding their upcoming manufacturing facilities at Mannavaram in Andhra Pradesh. The team discussed, the supply of equipment for the production of 2 Coal Handling Plants of 1500 tph per year from the Mannavaram Plant (Andhara Pradesh).

Earlier, this month Eswari Prasad, President, MAG India Industrial Automation System Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore visited HEC in regard to the joint venture for future projects in latest technology with the Heavy Machine Tool Plant. A meaningful commercial tie-up between HEC & MAG India is being explored.
