Hitachi Construction Machinery announced it will set up a Global Development Centre in Hubballi–Dharwad, Karnataka, which is expected to employ 200 engineers by 2027. The company selected Dharwad over competing international locations in Southeast Asia.

Renesas informed the delegation that its recently expanded R&D facility in Bengaluru has become its largest in India, employing more than half of its R&D workforce in the country. Yamaha Robotics was invited to explore establishing a manufacturing unit in Bengaluru.
