Shoft Shipyard stands as a beacon of innovation and integrity in India’s maritime sector. Established in 1987 and managed by a team of seasoned Naval Architects and Engineers, Shoft has delivered over 80 vessels, showcasing a commitment to quality and timely delivery. Their state-of-the-art facility on the banks of the Narmada River in Gujarat boasts the capacity to construct up to 12 vessels simultaneously, each up to 180 meters in length and 6,600 tonnes in launch weight.

Defence
Shoft has been involved in defence projects for over 20 years. In 2013 Shoft Shipyard was awarded the Industrial License for the construction of warships. In 2018 the License was enhanced to cover warships with moderate weapon outfit and modular construction of Destroyers, Frigates, Auxiliary vessels and Submarines segments along with associated outfit work.
Commercial
Shoft has built a number of commercial vessels covering a wide variety of applications catering to the various sectors of Offshore, Coastal / Inland, Dredging, Port operations and special services.
Repairs & Refit
The skills, people power, infrastructure and resources available for shipbuilding provide Shoft the capability & competence to carry out repairs and refit work. In accordance with our ethos and commitment to quality and timely delivery, Shoft’s team is ready to undertake all kinds of repairs and conversions in docked and afloat conditions.
Ancillary
Shoft Industries Pvt. Ltd (SIPL) is a group company which provides support to Shoft Shipyard and other shipyards with a gamut of engineering products & services, ranging from the manufacture of ancillary machinery, equipment and fittings to services that include contract outfit installation and specialized shipping services. SIPL is registered with DGQA (Directorate General of Quality Assurance) Ministry of Defence as an approved equipment manufacturer.
