RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated a 3 GW solar module manufacturing facility at IndoSpace Industrial Park in Khopoli, Maharashtra, in March 2026. The expansion increases the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity to 5.6 GW and adds to its production footprint in western India.

The facility spans over 700,000 square feet and is designed as an AI-powered, fully automated manufacturing unit. The plant incorporates advanced production technologies and digital monitoring systems aimed at improving precision, operational efficiency, and product quality.

The Khopoli facility is located near Mumbai and is positioned to leverage multimodal connectivity for logistics and distribution. The company stated that the location is expected to support supply-chain efficiency and improve access to both domestic and international markets.

The plant has been configured to support high-volume solar module manufacturing with a capacity of 3 GW. It includes automated production lines, real-time digital quality monitoring systems, and infrastructure designed for logistics integration and future expansion.

The facility was inaugurated by Saif Dhorajiwala, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Fourth Partner Energy, who attended as the Chief Guest.

RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Mumbai, manufactures solar photovoltaic modules and components including encapsulants and backsheets, and is part of the ENPEE Group, a manufacturing conglomerate established in 1961.
