GE Vernova has appointed Jeyamani M Doss as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for India and General Manager, India Engineering – Gas Power, along with his role as Site Leader for the John F. Welch Technology Centre (JFWTC) in Bangalore. He will also serve as Executive Director on the Board of GE Renewable Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (GERETPL), India.
The role includes responsibility for technology development initiatives focused on electrification, decarbonisation, and industrialisation, in collaboration with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and sourcing teams. These areas are aligned with ongoing developments in the energy sector, particularly in power generation and low-carbon technologies.
Doss has experience across engineering design, industrialisation, applications, and testing. His responsibilities will also involve engagement with engineering teams at JFWTC and other sites working on power generation, electrification, decarbonisation, and artificial intelligence-driven design.
The appointment comes amid broader changes in the energy sector, including increased deployment of electrification technologies and decarbonisation efforts. The role involves coordination with stakeholders across the value chain to support these developments.
