VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. announced an expansion of manufacturing activities at its Mysuru facility, highlighting the unit’s growing role in producing engines, driveline systems, and precision components for multiple industrial segments.

“VST is undergoing a significant transformation driven by design thinking-led innovation, high-quality precision engineering, and product modernization for global markets. Our focus is to create lasting value through technology, sustainability, and continuous building. The Global Technology Center in Hosur is a major part of this journey, to advance our expertise in future engines, driveline technologies, EV systems, and next-generation precision components,” said Antony Cherukara, CEO of VST Tillers Tractors Ltd.

The Mysuru manufacturing unit is broadening its capabilities through increased investments and enhanced production infrastructure. The expansion is enabling the company to supply high-performance engines, driveline units, and precision-engineered components to a wider set of industries beyond its traditional agricultural base. VST stated that these developments position the facility as a key contributor to its strategy of serving diversified domestic and international markets.

These manufacturing capabilities were showcased at EXCON 2025 in Bengaluru, where VST displayed its engine line-up and precision component offering. The company positioned this display as part of its shift toward a more diversified engineering and manufacturing portfolio.

The company manufactures a portfolio of 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder compact engines ranging from 17 HP to 30 HP as well as a range of engineered components used in construction and earthmoving machinery, diesel generator sets, marine systems, reefer units, cold-chain logistics, hospitals, and institutional power applications. These products have gained acceptance across high-demand industrial uses due to their performance and durability.

VST also continues to produce its 13 HP horizontal engine at the unit, supplying both agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers. The company referenced the engine’s widespread use in power tillers alongside concrete cutter machines, linking demand to ongoing infrastructure development activity in India.

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., established in 1967, manufactures tillers, tractors, engines, transmissions, power reapers, and precision components for domestic and international markets.
