LAT Aerospace, a Gurgaon-based aerospace technology company, has opened a new 50,000 square foot research and development headquarters and initiated work on its first hybrid-electric aircraft demonstrator.
The company is in the process of setting up a powertrain laboratory, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) setup, and an in-house wind tunnel. These facilities will enable deeper experimentation in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and integrated flight control development once operational.
“At LAT, there’s a lot happening in parallel and it’s a really exciting time to be building this. We’re optimising for short take-off and landing (STOL) in our demonstrator, figuring out how to cut grams of weight, building our own Monte Carlo simulator, developing a ground architecture for hybrid-electric, designing physics models from scratch, and so much more,” says Surobhi Das, Co-founder, LAT Aerospace.
LAT Aerospace was founded in early 2025 by Deepinder Goyal and Surobhi Das. The company focuses on advancing aircraft technology through simulation-driven engineering and indigenous design and testing capabilities.
