Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd. has commenced operations at a seamless pipes and tubes production line with a capacity of 1,800 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) at Dhaneti, Gujarat, the company announced on 5 November 2025. The new line raises the company’s total seamless pipes and tubes capacity to 16,200 MTPA, and additional capacity expansions are scheduled to be operationalised in the coming months.

The expansion is intended to strengthen the company’s presence in sectors that require high-specification stainless-steel pipe and tube products.

“We are pleased to share that the company has commenced operations for 1,800 MTPA of seamless pipe/tube production capacity. The balance capacity is progressing as planned and is expected to become operational in the coming months. Leveraging our technical expertise and strong customer relationships, we are confident of achieving a swift ramp-up,” said Arun Kothari, Managing Director of Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd.

The company did not disclose capital expenditure for the new line or give a precise timetable for the remaining capacity coming online. The press release noted only that the additional capacity would be operationalised “in the coming months.” The new output will form part of the company’s seamless product portfolio, which complements welded and longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipe ranges intended for both domestic and export markets.

Venus Pipes sells stainless-steel tube products across five categories including high-precision and heat-exchanger tubes, hydraulic and instrumentation tubes, seamless pipes, welded pipes and LSAW pipes, and exports to more than 30 countries including the United Kingdom, the United States and markets in the Middle East and European Union, the company said.
