Sun Mark Stainless has commissioned a new seamless stainless‑steel pipe and tube manufacturing plant in Gujarat, significantly expanding its capabilities beyond welded products. The plant, operational as of late July 2025, offers a capacity of 2,000 metric tons per month (24,000 MTPA), enhancing the company’s ability to meet global demand with reduced lead times.
Designed to serve key industries including oil & gas, heat exchangers, power generation, and pharmaceuticals, the facility adheres to major international standards (ASTM, EN, DIN, GOST), reinforcing Sun Mark’s commitment to quality, as emphasised by Managing Director Pratik Shah.
This seamless line complements the company’s established welded pipe and tube operations and its production of butt‑weld fittings. Sun Mark Stainless, founded in 2014 and commissioned in 2015 as a forward‑integration arm of Sunrise Group, now offers an expanded stainless‑steel portfolio including coils, sheets, and fittings.
Sunrise Group, in operation for over four decades, remains the parent entity. While exports represent around 80 percent of its business—serving approximately 23 countries—this figure is based on profiles dating back to 2020 and industry reports; no more recent breakdown was publicly available.
