RRP Defense Ltd has received a purchase order from CYGR, France, valued at USD 40 million for the supply and installation of 100 drone units. The contract is structured in two phases and is expected to be completed within six months.
The first phase, worth USD 20 million, covers the manufacturing of electro-optics systems, tracking and integration, day vision CMOS sensors, thermal cooled sensors, and PTZ housing. The second phase, also valued at USD 20 million, includes the production of components such as fins, motors, engines, housing, and the final assembly of the drones.
Payment terms for the contract specify 10 percent advance payment, 50 percent upon field acceptance testing, and 40 percent on shipment.
The order was awarded by an international entity, CYGR, with no promoter or related party interest involved in the contract. The transaction is not considered a related party transaction.
In July 2025, RRP Defense Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CYGR to establish a joint venture for the production of advanced drone systems in India. The proposed venture will include a manufacturing facility and a research and development (R&D) centre in Navi Mumbai.
