Australian Premium Solar (India) Limited, a solar module manufacturer and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions provider, has commenced commercial production at its new 400 megawatt (MW) TopCon solar module manufacturing line in Sabarkantha, Gujarat. The facility expands the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity to 800 MW.

The new production line was commissioned following successful trial runs and is equipped with high-efficiency machinery for manufacturing advanced TopCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) modules. The company said the expansion strengthens its position among India’s integrated solar manufacturers capable of producing high-performance TopCon modules.

The commissioning marks the first phase of APS’s capacity expansion plan. The company expects to operationalise another 400 MW line by April 2026, which will double its TopCon production capacity to 800 MW. APS stated that the new line is designed to meet increasing demand for high-efficiency solar modules across both domestic and international markets, serving applications ranging from utility-scale projects to distributed solar systems.

“The successful commencement of our 400 MW TopCon Solar Module line marks a pivotal moment in our growth journey,” said Nikunjkumar Chimanlal Patel, Chairman and Executive Director of APS. He added that the additional capacity supports the company’s goal of achieving a 75 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue and enhances its ability to meet accelerating renewable energy demand in India.

Established in 2013, Australian Premium Solar (India) Limited manufactures monocrystalline and TopCon solar modules and provides EPC services for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
