Axiscades Technologies Limited has expanded its collaboration with MBDA and inaugurated a new test bench facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The facility will support the mass production of advanced test benches for missile and missile launcher platforms and is intended to scale up system integration and production activities.

The collaboration between Axiscades and MBDA began a decade ago with the development of test benches for the MICA missile and has since evolved to include launch systems and other complex defence programmes. The new Aeroland facility will cater to MBDA’s global demand for test equipment, while Axiscades is also setting up a dedicated MBDA system integration centre at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster to enhance localisation and production capacity.

In addition to the Bengaluru expansion, the company plans to establish a Missile Atmanirbhar Complex in Hyderabad as a manufacturing hub for next-generation missile systems. The two facilities together are expected to strengthen India’s domestic defence production ecosystem and broaden Axiscades’ role in high-value aerospace and defence manufacturing.

“The new centre for test benches at Aeroland and the facility at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster will further our shared objective of supporting MBDA’s global programmes while strengthening local manufacturing,” said Florent Duleux, Group Director Export Sales at MBDA.

Dr Sampath Ravinarayanan, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Axiscades, said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to advancing India’s defence capabilities. “Our long-standing partnership with MBDA has enabled us to develop high-end technologies for missile systems. The new facilities will position Axiscades as a key contributor to the missile production ecosystem,” he said.
