Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories (PCR) India has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the launch of a new DVC production line at its Halol facility. The company also inaugurated a new X-ray fluorescence (XRF) Centre in Bangalore aimed at improving the speed and accuracy of raw material and product analysis.
According to the company, the new production line at Halol is intended to enhance capacity and operational flexibility. The XRF Centre is designed to support data-driven decision-making through more precise analysis in material assessment processes.
The developments were part of a three-day visit by Reinaldo Valu, Vice President of Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories, and Laurent Pierrot, head of R&D at PCR. The visit concluded with an employee engagement event.
