Greaves Cotton Limited has appointed Santosh Singh as Chief Strategy and AI Officer with effect from 15 December 2025, strengthening its senior management team as part of a broader strategic realignment. The appointment is aimed at supporting execution across emerging business vectors and advancing the company’s long-term strategy.
Singh will play a central role in driving the Greaves.NEXT strategy, which is positioned as the company’s future-focused roadmap for sustainable growth across energy, mobility, and industrial solutions. He will also focus on accelerating growth for Greaves Technologies Limited, developing an enterprise-wide AI roadmap, and fostering partnerships with hyperscalers and artificial intelligence laboratories.
Singh’s appointment is effective immediately and that he will be employed on a full-time basis. Singh brings 24 years of experience in strategy, business excellence, innovation, and artificial intelligence-led enterprise transformation. He has spent over 20 years across Tata Group companies, where he held senior leadership roles spanning marketing, brand building, and business transformation initiatives. Most recently, he served as Global Head – Marketing and Business Excellence at Tata Technologies Limited, where he co-led the enterprise generative artificial intelligence roadmap and worked on customer- and productivity-focused use cases.
In his new role at Greaves Cotton, Singh will lead group strategy, transformation initiatives, AI-led enterprise capability building, and business excellence. The filing notes that his mandate includes supporting the company’s strategic roadmap and strengthening execution across priority areas.
Commenting on the appointment in the press release, Parag Satpute, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Greaves Cotton Limited, said Singh’s experience in strategy, digital transformation, and AI would contribute to shaping the company’s next phase of growth. The statement added that his role would involve close collaboration across business units to incubate and scale new growth vectors and support business excellence initiatives.
