Maruti Suzuki India Limited has selected nine startups for the ninth cohort of its Accelerator program, including six Indian and three German companies. The selected startups will develop proof-of-concept automotive solutions in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki’s internal teams.
The Indian startups selected are Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho, ProSolvr, and Eligere. The German companies selected are Caire AI, Syn2Core, and Talonic. This is the first time the Accelerator program has included international participants through a new Global Startups category.
A total of 26 startups presented their solutions during the program’s finale, with 19 from India and seven from Germany. The selected startups offer technologies in areas such as cybersecurity, road safety, quality control, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and battery swapping.
“Startups bring fresh thinking and new ideas. The participation of global startups, this cohort onwards, marks a new milestone in this journey,” said Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
Maruti Suzuki launched its Accelerator program in January 2019. The company has also initiated other startup-focused initiatives, including an Incubation Program in August 2020, a Mobility Challenge in June 2021, and Nurture, a pre-incubation program launched in 2023.
Over the past six years, the company has screened more than 5,000 startups, engaged with 150, and formed partnerships with 25 startups that currently provide services to Maruti Suzuki.
