Bajel Projects Ltd, a manufacturer of power transmission infrastructure, plans to invest INR 1.7 billion to expand galvanisation capacity at its Ranjangaon facility from 40,000 metric tonnes (MT) to 100,000 MT per annum. The expansion is scheduled to take place between the fourth quarter of FY26 and the fourth quarter of FY27 and will be funded through a combination of internal accruals and debt.
The plant is currently operating at 98 percent capacity, according to the company. The expansion aims to address rising demand from both domestic and international markets. The additional capacity will support production in sectors including transmission towers, monopoles, lighting towers, and high masts.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held to mark the beginning of the project, attended by Chairman Shekhar Bajaj and employees. Speaking at the event, Bajaj encouraged the workforce to remain goal-oriented.
Managing Director and CEO Rajesh Ganesh stated that the expansion aligns with the company’s commitment to local manufacturing and enhancing supply capabilities.
