Kranti Industries Limited, a Pune-based precision engineering and machining solutions company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universal Autofoundry Limited, a Jaipur-headquartered manufacturer of castings, to develop an integrated machining facility in Rajasthan. The collaboration aims to enhance both companies’ manufacturing capabilities and operational efficiency in the automotive and engineering sectors.
According to a press release issued by Kranti Industries on 27 October 2025, the agreement establishes a long-term partnership under which Universal Autofoundry will lease its machining premises, plant, and equipment located at Sargoth in Sikar district, Rajasthan, to Kranti. The two existing machine shops operated by Universal Autofoundry in the state will be consolidated into this facility, which will function as a central machining hub managed exclusively by Kranti.
The collaboration will commence on 1 January 2026 and run for seven years, including a three-year lock-in period. Kranti will oversee the machining of casting components produced by Universal Autofoundry, creating a streamlined production process linking foundry and machining operations.
The partnership is expected to deliver several operational benefits, including improved productivity, cost efficiency, and shorter delivery cycles. It also enables Kranti Industries to expand its geographical presence into northern India, balancing its manufacturing footprint across the country and reducing logistics and regional concentration risks.
“This collaboration with Universal Autofoundry Limited marks a major step in Kranti’s growth and strategic roadmap. It will strengthen our presence in Northern India while complementing our machining capabilities in the West,” said Sachin Subhash Vora, Chairman and Managing Director of Kranti Industries. He added that the alliance aligns with the company’s Vision 2030 plan to become a globally recognised solutions provider.
Vimal Chand Jain, Managing Director of Universal Autofoundry, stated that the partnership would streamline operations and enhance consistency and quality. “By integrating UFL’s casting capabilities with Kranti’s machining expertise, we will build a coordinated manufacturing ecosystem that supports scalable growth and strengthens competitiveness,” he said.
Kranti Industries Limited, established in 1981 and listed on the BSE, manufactures precision components for automotive, agricultural, construction equipment, and electric vehicle applications.
