L&T Technology Services Limited inaugurated a Global Development Center – APAC in Pune on 10 December 2025 as part of a multi-year engagement with Palfinger, the Austria-headquartered manufacturer of crane and lifting solutions. The centre is anchored within the company’s Mobility segment and is intended to support Palfinger’s localisation roadmap and next-generation digital transformation initiatives.
The Global Development Center will provide embedded software development, product lifecycle management migration, advanced computer-aided engineering simulations and digital mock-up services to accelerate product development for Palfinger in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
The partnership will incorporate artificial intelligence across engineering workflows to automate design, run simulations, enable predictive intelligence and shorten development cycles. Senior leaders from both organisations attended the inauguration in Pune.

The GDC represents an expansion of the companies’ collaboration, aimed at strengthening Palfinger’s product portfolio as well as its sourcing and localisation programmes.
