Dynamatic Technologies Limited announced the readiness for delivery of the first complete ship-set of all eight doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft at its Bengaluru facility on 13 January 2026. The ship-set includes main passenger doors, service doors, cargo doors and over-wing emergency exit doors, marking the first time all door variants for the A220 have been produced and delivered together from a single Indian location.

The development consolidates the manufacture of all Airbus A220 door variants at one supplier site and reflects the industrialisation of multiple safety-critical aerostructures within defined programme timelines. The delivery forms part of Airbus’s global commercial aircraft supply chain for the A220 programme.

The formal handover ceremony was held at Dynamatic’s Bengaluru site in the presence of representatives from Airbus India and South Asia and senior officials from the civil aviation ecosystem, marking the readiness for delivery of the complete ship-set.

According to a press release issued by Dynamatic Technologies Limited, the ship-set was completed ahead of schedule following the successful industrialisation of all door variants at its Bengaluru facility. The company said the programme involved collaboration with Airbus and domestic partner suppliers to meet certification, quality and delivery requirements.

“It’s a pleasure to be here at Dynamatic Aerotropolis in Bengaluru on a truly significant occasion. Today, marks the delivery of the first complete ship-set of all eight doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft, completed ahead of schedule. This is a proud moment for Dynamatic, for Airbus and for India’s aerospace sector. This is a feat which is made in India, made for the world. On behalf of Government of India, I offer congratulations to the entire Dynamatic team and to Airbus,” said Samir Kumar Sinha, Civil Aviation Secretary of India.

“The A220 represents the pinnacle of modern commercial aviation, and Dynamatic is proud to have successfully industrialised all door variants for this aircraft right here in India. By collaborating with Airbus and our domestic partner-suppliers, we have achieved over 99 percent indigenous value-added content for these high-technology aerostructures – a testament to the extraordinary teamwork of our people and the Government of India in delivering world-class manufacturing in record time,” said Udayant Malhoutra, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited.

“This delivery firmly positions India as a vital hub in Airbus’ global supply chain. By bringing together an extensive network of Indian aerospace players, we are not just creating jobs and fostering advanced capabilities; we are reinforcing the ‘Make in India’ vision by establishing the largest aerospace export program in our country’s history,” Malhoutra said.

The company stated that the Airbus A220 doors programme integrates multiple Indian aerospace suppliers and supports Airbus’s global production requirements for the aircraft. The complete ship-set consists of eight distinct door assemblies designed to meet stringent airworthiness, safety and operational standards.
