Sandhar Technologies Limited has approved the acquisition of the high-pressure and low-pressure aluminium die casting businesses of Sundaram-Clayton Limited at its Hosur plant. The transaction will be executed through Sandhar Ascast Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, via a slump sale. The details will be finalized in the Business Transfer Agreement.
Additionally, Sandhar Technologies will transfer its zinc die casting units—Unit-IV (Haryana) and Unit-II (Karnataka)—to Sandhar Ascast Private Limited under similar arrangements. Revenue from these units in the financial year 2023-24 was INR 774.4 million (Haryana) and INR 805.4 million (Karnataka), representing 0.20% and 0.22% of the company’s total revenue, respectively.
The company has also approved the sale of its 50% stake in Jinyoung Sandhar Mechatronics Private Limited. The management has been directed to identify potential buyers and finalize agreements.
The transactions are part of Sandhar Technologies’ strategy to consolidate its casting operations under a single entity. The slump sale of the die casting units is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025, subject to regulatory and statutory approvals.
