FORVIA Faurecia India, a supplier automotive technologies, has inaugurated a new Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing facility in Bengaluru dedicated to supplying Hyundai-Kia. The company stated that the new plant enhances its operations in South India and supports its localisation strategy.
The new Bengaluru plant adds to FORVIA Faurecia’s existing footprint in India, which includes production facilities and R&D centres in cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, and Chennai, along with a recently established JIT plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
FORVIA Faurecia serves multiple automotive clients in India and has stated that it is focused on expanding its manufacturing and innovation capabilities in the region.
