Jeh Aerospace has inaugurated the Jeh Centre for Aerospace Resilience (JCAR), a new facility aimed at improving efficiency and reducing production timelines in aerospace manufacturing. According to the company, the facility enables New Part Introduction (NPI) timelines to be reduced from three months to three weeks.
Located in Hyderabad, the centre integrates operations technology, robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) systems to support precision and faster processing in manufacturing. Jeh Aerospace stated that JCAR incorporates a digital thread connecting product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and manufacturing execution systems (MES), enabling what it describes as “software-defined manufacturing.” Engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams are co-located to streamline execution.
The company noted that JCAR follows the earlier launch of the Jeh Centre for Aerospace Skill (JCAS), which focuses on workforce development.
Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, was present at the inauguration of the JCAR facility.
Jeh Aerospace is engaged in aerospace manufacturing and has recently expanded its operations with a focus on digital and integrated production systems.
