Acron Aviation has opened a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Bangalore, India. The centre begins operations with repair and testing capabilities for the SRVIVR25, an onboard safety system, and is planned to expand over the next three years to include recorders, TCAS, and advanced display systems.

The company is in the process of obtaining DGCA CAR 145 approval and intends to pursue FAA, EASA, and CAAC certifications. These approvals will allow the Bangalore site to service both regional and international operators in line with regulatory requirements.

“Our Bangalore facility is fully integrated with Acron Aviation’s global repair network, ensuring consistent standards, processes, and IP protection across every location,” said Ronald Nye, VP and GM Aftermarket, Acron Aviation. He added, “this investment is a direct response to our customers’ need for lower logistics costs, faster repair cycles, and enhanced local support.”

The company stated that the facility will also evolve into a hub for engineering, customer support, and field services in the Asia-Pacific region.

Acron Aviation provides repair and maintenance solutions for aircraft systems and operates repair stations and licensed centres serving operators across multiple regions.
