KEC International Ltd. has received new orders valued at INR 32.43 billion in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. The contracts include a 400 kV transmission line project in the United Arab Emirates and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
“We are delighted with the new order wins in our T&D business, especially our largest ever EPC order till date. This order has further strengthened our presence in the Middle East and substantially expanded our international T&D order book. The Middle East region continues to be a strategic growth driver for us, as reflected in this order and those secured earlier this year. With the above orders, our YTD order intake stands at ~Rs 11,700 crore. These orders will play a key role in driving our targeted growth going forward,” said Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International.
These new orders substantially expand KEC’s international T&D order book, reinforcing the Middle East as a growth region. The new contracts are expected to be pivotal in driving KEC’s targeted business growth for the remainder of the year and beyond.
