Stäubli, a provider of industrial and mechatronic solutions, has signed an agreement to establish a new manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India, focused on producing connectors for renewable energy applications. The facility is scheduled to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is intended to meet growing demand in the Indian renewable energy sector.

The project is aligned with India’s target of reaching 280 GW of solar energy capacity by 2030. The company stated that the new plant will enhance its manufacturing capacity and aims to improve service responsiveness in the region. The official start of the project was marked with a Bhoomi Puja ceremony at the site.
