Markem-Imaje has inaugurated a new Thermal Transfer (TT) Printing Solutions Testing and Lab Facility in Jigani, Bengaluru. According to a press release, the facility aims to enhance product development and cater to the needs of customers in India and neighboring regions.

The lab is equipped with advanced testing and research capabilities designed to support innovation in industrial marking and coding systems. This initiative is part of the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in the Indian market while contributing to the development of the local manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem.

The inauguration event included members of the leadership team, such as Mark Rapposelli, Vice President of Product Development & Engineering for Dover Imaging and Identification, and Tushar Banerjee, Managing Director of Dover India.

Speaking at the event, Rapposelli noted that the facility would enhance the company’s ability to deliver customized solutions for Indian customers. Banerjee highlighted the investment as a commitment to leveraging local opportunities and aligning with the growth of the manufacturing sector in India.

Markem-Imaje, a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Dover Corporation, specializes in product identification and traceability solutions, with a presence in over 30 countries. Dover operates multiple facilities across India, including manufacturing plants and innovation centers.
